The ISPE Emerging Leaders invite you to the first virtual edition of the ISPE Future Leaders Days 2021 – Equality, Leadership & Innovation in Biopharma.

14^th Oct. 2021 – 1:00pm – 6:30pm (CEST)

During the 2 day virtual event, you will have the opportunity to listen to presentations given by international experts and leaders on different topics from Career Development to Innovation & Technology as well as Leadership & Communication.  The event is structured in three tracks which will take place simultaneously. All participants can switch freely between all sessions. After each talk, there will be the opportunity to ask questions and exchange experiences and opinions with the speakers. Additionally, each track hosts an interactive Workshop to get practical knowledge from industry professionals. 

This event is organized by an international committee of the European ISPE Emerging Leaders community and tailored for people in the early stages of their career. We warmly invite everyone to join the event and encourage to participate in the interactive sessions during the breaks and the networking event in the end of the first day.

Track 1 – Career Development:

Many of us are in the early stages of their careers and probably thinking about their next steps, their strengths and weaknesses and how we are supposed integrate our professional life with a healthy balance between work and leisure. This track focuses on how each us of can develop decisive strategies to get most of our careers and adjust it to our personal needs. The talk will be complemented by MTBI personality workshop discovering compatible personality types and how this may help to form functional teams.

Track 2 – Innovation & Technology:

The biopharmaceutical is constantly developing and the next innovative technology or modality is around the corner. This track shines some light on ongoing trends and emerging technologies that potentially have a great impact on how we conduct our day-to-day work and help patients in curing their diseases. Aside from talks on emerging technologies, the speakers will dive into how future leaders can handle those technological transformations. The track will be opened by a hands-on workshop on how to use data science tools to assist in process characterization.

Track 3 – Leadership & Communication:

Most of us have probably made their first experiences in leading collective projects or leading a group of people and have realized that the way we communicate our opinions or solely the progress of the projects can have a great impact on the motivation of yourself and the others. In this track, a diverse panel of professionals from industry and academia talk about how we can improve our communication skills, reflect on ourselves as a leader, and show ways how to cope with constantly changing environments. The track will be closed by an interactive workshop on how to approach leadership in times of constant change.
