In recent years, the industry in various sectors like engineering, automotive and pharma discovered an ever-growing potential in digitalisation and the connection of people and devices. This „Industry 4.0” holds many challenges but even more possibilities and advantages for companies, employees and academia alike.
To tackle the challenges of the next industrial revolution the newly founded ISPE Student Chapter Karlsruhe invited an established professional from the Robert BOSCH Packaging Technology GmbH. In his talk, Dr. Christian Hanisch will present approaches and solutions on how to leverage this untapped potential and how a connected industry may benefit us all.

More Information about the speaker

Dr. Christian Hanisch holds a doctorate degree in Polymer Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich, after successfully acquiring a degree in Chemical Engineering at named university.

Starting his career at the Robert Bosch GmbH at the department of Research and Development in 2009, he soon took on responsibility in various positions within the Robert Bosch GmbH. -In 2013 Dr. Hanisch shifted to the Business Unit Pharma and contributed greatly to the development and the connection of various partners and units of the Robert Bosch GmbH – in the spirit of a connected industry.
Since the beginning of this year, he now holds the position of Director for “Project Industry 4.0” in latter organisation.

Apart from his formidable career at the Robert Bosch GmbH, Dr. Hanisch was among the founders of the Emerging Leader group at the DACH affiliate of the International Society of Pharmaceutical
Engineering (ISPE).
