Vorwort von Marcel Staudt, Vorsitzender ISPE – DACHDas Jahr 2013 ist für die ISPE – DACH ein besonderes Jahr: das 20jährige Bestehen unseres Vereins ISPE – DACH ist erreicht. Das haben wir im April diesen Jahres, mit einem Blick auf und in die aktuellen Trends der Pharmaproduktion, in Hamburg gefeiert. Mehr als 130 Teilnehmer haben uns zwei Tage und einen Abend begleitet. Die positiven Rückmeldungen, auch aus der Presselandschaft, bestätigten uns in der Wahl des Themas. Hier ein Rückblick: Trends und Veraenderungen in der Pharmaindustrie.
Es freut mich, dass ISPE dies als ein auch uns in unserer Arbeit antreibendes Thema europaweit aufgreift und eine Konferenz The Future of European Pharma – Flexible, Agile and Sustainable vom 30. September bis zum 1. Oktober 2013 in Brüssel veranstaltet.
Der globale Wettbewerb (die Pharmerging Markets, Generika) und veränderte Marktbedingungen (Auslaufen der Patente, Regulariendruck) zwingen die Pharmaindustrie nachhaltiger, flexibler und beweglicher zu werden. Pharmazeutische Unternehmen müssen ihre Produkte schneller, effizienter und zu geringeren Kosten liefern.
Diese zweitägige Konferenz zeigt in Fachvorträgen, Workshops und Fallstudien auf, wie eine verbesserte operative Performance und Fertigung durch flexiblere Produktionsstätten erreichbar ist. Wie kann die notwendige Flexibilität zur Bewältigung dieser Herausforderungen – vom Operations Management bis hin zum Facility Design und neuen IT-Anforderungen – erreicht werden? Die momentanen und zukünftigen Erwartungen der EU-Regulierungsbehörden und die GMP- Vorschriften werden ebenfalls aufgegriffen.
Hochrangige Referenten diskutieren wie die Regulierungsbehörden und Unternehmen mit dem Übergang zu flexibleren Fertigungssystemen umgehen. Praktische Erfahrungen und Erkenntnisse werden in den Präsentationen, Tagungen, Workshops, Fallstudien und Q & A – Sessions angesprochen, Antworten gegeben.

Track 3: IT and Automation
IT and Automation tools are a key asset in flexible, agile facilities. This track highlights the requirements for operating a flexible and multi-purpose facility and managing data and automation; and also explores the use of IT applications to meet required safety and environmental standards. It includes a discussion of new technological developments including virtual collaboration, wireless technology and modelling and simulation tools.
